After testing several designs, we found that a more gentle method for aligning posts on a flute is with a lever instead of pliers. To use, simply slip the tool around the post and lightly adjust in any direction. Techs will enjoy the control of this lever when a mallet is not an option. Be sure to use a light touch with this tool as it gives you a tremendous amount of leverage. The lever will not mar the post head or its base, and you can also put a small piece of shrink tubing on the dowel to protect the instrument's finish. Machined from a single piece of tool steel, this lever is incredibly strong and durable while still being light in the hands. Length: 4" (102 mm) Handle Width: 5.5 mm Head Width: 8.6 mm
